Levitra unsuccessful, should I try Cialis? I've been prescribed Levitra 20mg tables and am instructed to take half (10mg) before activity. If I've had sexual activity the day before, even the full 20mg is not effective. I've tried a friends 50mg of Viagra and it always seems to work well. Seeing that a full dose of Levitra is 20mg I would of thought it would work as well as a full dose of Viagra which is 100mg. I've been thinking of talking to my doctor about Cialis seeing I am in the 'honeymoon' stages and am very sexual active at the moment. It would be nice to go anytime and anywhere. How is Cialis compared to Levitra/Viagra? My take on things after experiencing both is Levitra is not as effective as Viagra.
samirtas replied: "viagra works great, but for a short time. it lasts for one day for me. but cialis last a couple of days. I need lower doses and last 2-3 days strong.
you can buy them from the place i do.
reliable and has great service. check them out."
Does Cialis work like they claim it does? Any women or men's opinions would be appreciated. If you can, compare it to the effectiveness of Viagra.
kinacl replied: "I'm a nurse. I feel you have to find the one that will work best for you. Try as many as you need to get the desired results. Take care."
Joachin Murrieta replied: "Works a lot more gently with more subdued side effects compared to Viagra. Viagra hits like a ton of lead and will give you "blue steel" Cialis will do the same but it "nicer" about it. It is just as effective as Viagra and lasts about 12 hours....not the 36 hours like the ads claim"
john w replied: "The history of Cialis cannot be discussed without mentioning Viagra or Pfizer. The FDA's approval on March 27, 1998, lead both of these pre ion drugs, Viagra and Pfizer, to a ground breaking success in just the first year of introduction as they sold drugs worth over a billion dollars. However, things changed considerably for the two giants of erectile dysfunction drugs when the FDA also approved Levitra in August 19, 2003, and Cialis in November 21, 2003. In 1993 the drug company Icos began studying IC351, which is a PDE5 enzyme inhibiter, and this is basically the process through which the erectile dysfunction drugs work. In 1994, Pfizer scientists discovered that Sildenafil Citrate, which is a white crystalline powder that temporarily normalizes erectile function of the penis by blocking an enzyme known to inhibit the production of a chemical that causes erections, caused the heart patients that were participating in a clinical study of a heart medicine to have erections. Although the scientists were not testing the chemical compound IC351 for erectile dysfunction, the compound seem to have a side effect which could potentially worth million, if not billions. Soon Icos received its very first patent in 1994 on IC351, and the clinical trials of phase I took place in 1995. In 1997, phase II clinical studies began and Icos performed its first study on patients with erectile dysfunction. Phase II lasted about two years, and after that phase III began. In 1998, ICOS Corporation, and Eli Lilly and Company, commercialized the drug for erectile dysfunction, and two year later, they filed a new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Admisnistration for IC351, only difference was that this time they decided to call the drug, Cialis. In May of 2002, Icos and Eli Lilly and Company reported to the American Urological Association that the phase III tests show that Cialis works for up to 36 hours, and one year later Icos and Eli Lilly and Company received the U.S. FDA's approval for Cialis. One advantage that Cialis has over Viagra is that Cialis works for up to 36 hours as compared to 4 hours for Viagra.
Viagra, Levitra and Cialis work in much the same way. Chemically known as phosphodiesterase inhibitors, these drugs enhance the effects of nitric oxide, a chemical messenger that relaxes smooth muscles in the penis. This increases the amount of blood and allows a natural sequence to occur an erection in response to sexual stimulation. These medications don't automatically produce an erection. Instead they allow an erection to occur after physical and psychological stimulation. Many men experience improvement in erectile function after taking these medications regardless of the cause of their impotence.
These medications share many similarities, but they have differences as well. They vary in dosage, duration of effectiveness and possible side effects. Other distinctions for example, which drug is best for certain types of men aren't yet known. No study has directly compared these three medications."
Kickstand replied: "Cialis is not nearly as effective as Viagra. The newest technique out there involves taking Cialis the "night before" and Viagra the "day of" a sexual encounter. If that combination doesn't accomplish providing a solid, lasting erection nothing will work.
Remember the old Chevy ads....."Like a Rock!""
John Doe replied: "Basically, yes. They both do the same thing.
I think Cialis is supposed to have either a quicker effect; possibly last longer, but I did not find that to be an important selling point for myself.
Viagra will begin to do it's job in about 30 minutes, just like most any other drug, and I find that it's effects last a good long time. For example, if we have sex around 6-7 PM, and I get up the next morning and I'm in the mood to masturbate, I can tell that the quality of the erection is still much greater than normal. The drug is still doing its thing."
Viagra/Cialis question? Given that Cialis has a much longer life (72 hours supposedly compared to 4 hours with Viagra), why would Viagra be selected over Cialis as an ED medication?
planman1994 replied: "both pills can affect your health differently, a doctor would prescribe the pill which best suits your situation."
Billy Pinky replied: "I have used Viagra and it works well with me, just a bit of flushing on the face and I can Live with that but I do know that my mate took Cialis and for the whole weekend he had really bad headaches. Bit of mood killer and he never took it again.
Its like everything else, give it a go. Could be the best thing to happen to you and your partner."
Submit2please.com replied: "Viagra is the brand name of the drug sildenafil citrate, which is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. In 1998, Viagra became the first drug officially approved for treatment of erectile dysfunction in the United States.
It was shown to be successful in 4 out of 5 men. Viagra comes in pills of 50mg or 100mg each with 50mg being the recommended dose for most men. The patient should take 1 pill about 30 minutes before sexual activity in order to be able to have an erection when stimulated. The drug remains effective for up to 4 hours.
Does Viagra have any side effects?
Side effects associated with Viagra tend to be mild; however as with any other medication it is not suitable for everyone and should not be taken without precaution. Patients taking Viagra should be aware that reactions vary from person to person and side effects cannot be anticipated.
Common mild side effects include:
Headaches.
Hearing Loss
Blurred or color tinged vision and/or sensitivity to light.
Acid indigestion.
Flushing.
Nasal congestion
You should not take Viagra if:
You are taking any nitrate based drugs (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide).
You use any recreational drugs containing amyl or butyl nitrate, like "poppers".
You suffer from any active heart disease or have had a stroke in the previous 6 months.
You should take precautions and tell your doctor or pharmacist if:
You have any history of penis related conditions (e.g., angulation, fibrosis, and priapism an erection lasting longer than 4 hours).
You have any blood cell disorders (e.g., sickle cell, anemia, leukemia).
You are taking any alpha-blocker (blood pressure) medications.
You are taking any other medications for impotence or HIV inhibitors.
You suffer from any eye diseases or have ever experienced severe loss of vision.
You suffer from any kidney or liver diseases.
You suffer from very high or very low blood pressure.
Allergic reactions to Viagra are very rare, however if you develop a reaction (rash, itching, abnormal swelling, priapism) or experience any change in your response to Viagra, stop taking them immediately and seek advice from a doctor."
Ok, tell me about your experiences with Cialis, from either a male or female perspective? I am just curious. Does it really last 36 hours, has anyone ever compared it to viagra? I heard its almost used like a sex toy, in men who are healthy. Tell me your experiences.
Dublin replied: "i never tried it"
Tiana replied: "Viagra is more intrusive the hard-on comes on and stay for hours with Cialis it is more gradual so it does not seem like you go and go. Cialis is just like a helper. Viagra is more like the sex toy experience."
chowderboxallnite replied: "I am a healthy male and I use it as a sex toy. If I take it it is almost impossible to orgasm. I can wear a woman out when I am on it, and it is hard as a rock the whole time.
I never really had issues before I tried it, but boy does it make a difference. I only take about 4 mg per dose."
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VIAGRA ,CIALIS, AND LEVITRA I want to try something and not sure which is best If someone knows or knows a site that compares potency, side effects and pricing, I would apreciate it. User's results are welcome
stanleys_2001 replied: "CIALIS is the one one that lasts the longest...
Never used them personally... but I hear it's "remarkable"
Levitra, to my understanding .... is more a supplement."
Michael F replied: "Viagra and Levitra work similarly. You take the pill 30-60 minutes before you wanna and it lasts for 1 pop within a 4 hour period. Cialis you take 30-60 before but will stay in your system about 36 hours. This allows time to be spontaneous. It too is usually only good for 1 or 2 pops. All 3 meds can cause congested head and flushed face. Make sure you do not have any conditions that would preclude you from having sex. If you have an erection for more than 4 hours, get medical attention immediately. It is called priapism and can be potentially deadly and down right painful."
Anybody can recommend a real website that selling on-line sexual enhancer medicine i.e. Viagra, cialis & etc.? You know as of now there are lots of spam emails intering my email address some of them have convincing products, however I doubt if the website is true. It's so fearsome to try to buy on-line if after all you committ your credit card no shipment of stuff arrive or else the stuff arrive but fake. So I need somebody who already tried to buy on-line of any sexual enhancer medicine is it really true what the're claiming that you can save enough amount compared to our local pharmacies?
Ambivalence replied: "If a website is offering to sell you pre ion meds. without a pre ion, you can bet they're dodgy in some way."
adsnell2004 replied: "well it's a scam for a reason. giving us the thought that we can safely increase the size of our penis.
not only are they not FDA approved your number will get taken along the way.
there are many dangers with this so I would stick to homeopathic remedies instead of that online nonsense."
triviatm replied: "Those drugs are pre ion for a reason. If you take them without proper medical supervision, you can really screw yourself up. Talk to your doctor, he'll be able to tell you whether you need it and can use it safely.
Anyone selling pre ion drugs without a pre ion is a scammer and trying to get your credit card information so they can rob you blind."
ccnscp87 replied: "Don't buy them online.
I'm not going to criticize you for it, because they're pre ion only. If there are no underlying psychological reasons why you're suffering performance issues (and you've checked these out), you should know better than anyone if you need a little boost. That, however, if where your doctor should come in.
Buying any medication online is very risky. They could be fakes, or even worse, some type of amphetamine (cheaply produced and illegal!) that mimics the response after taking Viagra or Cialis (ie: increased heartbeat, etc). The problem is, these are unsafe and can cause cardiac arrest."
JS replied: "Always ignore the spam mails! In 99% it is a rip off!!
The best and safest way is to get a pre ion from your doctor and get it from your local pharmacy.
These meds can have side effects and are you really sure that you can take them without damaging your health? Trust me.. the doc won't even remeber you after 2 weeks. He sees 10s of men like you every day. That's his job and he should be the last person to be ashamed of. So I'd really recommend you to see the doc and get your free samples of ed meds.
You can also try to order viagra online, the only problem with buying viagra online is that there are so many sh..ty places all over the net that you can easily get lost and get ripped in the end.
you must be very careful if you choose to order meds over the net. a good source for ed meds like viagra cialis levitra is viagrafans.com . It is not an online pharmacy but an online community of viagra cialis and levitra users, the site also has got price comparison of cheapest and trusted online pharmacies.
And avoid all the "herbal viagra" scams. They just don't work."
Happy replied: "If your doc has verified that this med is really safe for you
you can save some money if you order meds online, just check the pharmacies very careful before you buy anything.
Here are some tips from my experience with online drugstores.
One thing I know for sure - do not buy anything from a pharmacy that sends spam emails, I know a few guys who been ripped that way, including myself. Also avoid pharmacies that have got well known SCAM products on their product lists (like penis/breast enlargement pills, viagra for women and other questionable "products") It is a very big chance that their pre ion meds are also fake.
When you have found something that looks like a good and trusted pharmacy, check if the pharmacy has got a live support chat or a support phone number. If you have any doubts I suggest to contact the support staff before placing any orders, because if your shipping will be
delayed or if there will be any other problems, it is better you have already tested the quality of support they can provide. Also ask the support what are their shipping and refund policies. probably is one of the cheapest sites online. Have ordered a couple times, the meds work ok, just as the ones I can get at Wal Mart. It is from the UK and I feel much better ordering from a British pharmacy than a pharmacy from India or Mexico.
Of course If I were taking a life saving chemical (heart medication, as example) I would want the branded product from my local pharmacy. If it is not life saving get the generic and save 50% or more"
ED options? Can anyone compare the differences in action / reaction to Viagra, Cialis, Levitra? Side effects, physical actions, length of help, etc. Please do not quote me info from their websites, have read it all. But fist hand experiences if you have tried one or all of them. Thanks
robisirt replied: "Hello
I'm 34 years old and I have tried Cialis E.Lilly dosage 20 mg, too.
I have taken them 2 hours before intercourse and they worked very well on me.
For two days I had spontanous erections and sex with my girlfriend, I didn't have time worries and was very calm.
The erections are good and satisfactory for intercourse and Cialis works for a lot of time.
Cialis is good for a nice weekend and for the their effect of 2 -3 days very good.
I would recommend you to start with a 10 mg dosage, because your young and have erections alone.
I didn't have any side effects of Cialis. No priapism and other things.
Viagra has more rigid erections than Cialis, but has a shorter life. It's about 4 to 5 hours.
Viagra it's good for a good night and One night stands.
For me only Original Viagra Pfizer 100 mg dosage it's effective.
I have only red eyes as side effect no other. No priapism and other things.
I have read that if you take Cialis or Viagra for a period of time the will improve your nocturnal erections and your normal erections, that you will not need them anymore.
You must try them yourself, but take care of them because your young and maybe the can have some side effects on you.
Not every men have the same side effects and in some men Viagra or Cialis will not work. Maybe the must take a higher dosage or take the ED meds more time."
JSteward replied: "Have tried both - Viagra and Cialis. Viagra gave me a headache, altough the erections were more intense than they are now with cialis. Using cialis for the past 2 years, no side effects so far, stays in my system up to 30hrs during which I can have repeat orgasms easily.
To compare viagra cialis experience with other men this is a good site - It is an online community of viagra/cialis/levitra users and has got a good mesage board. The site also got price comparison of best and cheapest online pharmacies"
Generic Viagra and Pfizer's Viagra? Hi, i came accross a site called generic-compare.com that claims that generic viagra and pfizer viagra have exactly the same effects.
The prices are very-very low for the Generic type of viagra, but i wanted to know if they will REALLY WORK in the same way as the BrandName product ?
And if they do, why dosnt everyone just use the generic version of all medications ? (like generic cialis for example).
Thanks for your replys,
tomboe66 replied: "There is no legal generic viagra. This site is false."
j leaderman replied: "From my personal experince, they work just fine, and i use only generics...
But as said befor, there is a patent protection on viagra that is still valid, but from what i understand - some countries have removed the patent protection of the viagra product in order to make thiere own 'viagra' like kamagra for example, in anycase the site you stated has compared prices for both products so i dont think you'll have a problem saving cash anyways ;)"
